Shelter Dog Photography

Hello! I thought I’d share some recent shelter dog photos that I took at Longmont Humane Society.

I’ve been photographing dogs at this shelter most every Sunday for sixteen years and love meeting new dogs each week. I have two dog handlers, Rob and Nancy, who help me get these photos taken - I couldn’t do it without them!

Notice the variety of dogs here and the German Shepherd that refused to face me. Well, when you have a good back side, you may as well photograph it!

There are two other photographers at LHS, Morgan and Katie who also photograph the dogs and do beautiful work!
